God's Beautiful Creations.

Your mind may wander to: Babies. Animals. Trees. Flowers. Rainbows. Waterfalls.

My mind also wanders to: Buildings. Cars. Musical instruments. Stuffed animals. Furniture. Other everyday and not so everyday things. Why do I think of these things as God's creations? Because He gave someone the gifts, talents, and intelligence to dream and build these things.

Photography. God planted that seed at an early age I remember always being fascinated with it. God's timing. Always remember that for anything in your life.

I received my first little 110 camera for Christmas when I was 9 or 10. I still remember how excited I when I saw what was in the box! I grew up in a small town with the closest camera store being 80 miles away so I had no clue what wonders awaited me years later.

I went through various point & shoots until my mid-20s when I made that trek to that camera store and purchased my first 35mm camera. I still buy all of my equipment from that same guy at that same store even though I no longer live in Kentucky. I was recently in the store for the first time since 1998 when I visited while on vacation from California.

I adore capturing those special moments between people. Sometimes the best ones are when they know you're there but don't realize you're clicking away at those exact moments. If we go to a park to take your family photographs in addition to the posed photos it‘s great to capture those moments of you just being a family or of kids just being kids. Your photos can be taken on location in a park or other place special to you or I have studio equipment I can set up in your home. If you don't have room in your home I have access to a couple of spaces.
Remember the God's timing part? I love music and in my teens I remember looking at album covers and thinking how fun and how cool it would be to have taken those photos. That seed has fully matured with three (soon to be four) local artists and one nationally touring band who's on the road almost every weekend. You can see some of these in my "published works" gallery.
